Dear Students:
Welcome to School on this strange day following the strange weekend with no electric power! Is it a coincidence that this is the week of Halloween?!!!
Because we are all together on the Mountain of Learning, we are all in this situation together, and together we will "Make the most of it," stretching our "brain-power by the hour" just as you are used to the learning experiences here in our special Classroom 16!
It is my hope that I will be proud of each one of you today.

NO SCHOOL due to the Fires just North of us, the Air Quality, and the electric power outages.
Dear Students:
I REALLY missed school, and I REALY missed you! We missed a lot!
Sometimes life, the complications of the civilization we are part of, can cause all parts of the routines we are used to, to get all mixed-up! Priorities are always Health and Safety, and focusing on that in an emergency demands that we leave other things aside for a time, and make the best of the circumstances.
When the emergency is over, we need to put routines back in place, knowing some things will be missed, but in that whole process, there are the memories of stories to be told about all that happened!
So, let's get back to it!

Welcome again, and again, and again to the Joy of Learning!
Remember, again, and again, and again, that those wonderful feelings of happiness, pride, achievement, etc., are found here in Classroom 16, and around our School, by being together in our learning activities, in reaching for, and targeting our Learning Aims, and in hitting the bull's-eye, or should I say, "Bear's-eye?!!!"
We engage in Learning and being on "The Mountain of Learning" in so many ways. Do your part to be excellent and help everyone to be excellent!
